Cinema Studies students

    I admit I'm not a people person. I despise incompetency and lack of thought, which unfortunately contains over half of the general population. Go figure. I essentially don't care for the company of my peers from both advertising and cinema studies.
    See I have a problem with each of them

    Advertising people have pretentious people. Cinema Studies have people who complain there is nothing to do that will satisfy them creatively. I won't talk about advertising people for one thing: they are motivated enough to do things and although they are mostly shit heads there are some creative people out there. The SOJC forces down our throats like they are making foie gras out of us that we have to do shit.
    Cinema Studies is a relatively new program. Actually it's super new of like 4 years. It's still trying to grow. However, the kind of people you get are the real shit heads. You get fuckers who think they know about films. Congratulations. You're another fucker who thinks they are know all for films. Anyway let's be less crude about it. There are 3 kinds of cinema studies students: 1. The assholes who think they know all 2. The assholes who complain & 3. The assholes who get their heads out of their ass and do something.
    Cinema studies students need to start doing things. They need to stop expecting UFO (University Film Organization) to fulfill their needs. If the UFO is not satisfying, something needs to be done. Someone needs to take charge! It is not up to a club or organization to spoon feed it's attendees. Speaking of attendees, if the problem is that people are inconsistent, you need to make the organization absolutely exclusive. Not any asshole can come in. Maybe not that exclusive, but a least some kind of mandatory attendance.

    I don't see why people do not take charge of their education and life. You are living and at university for a reason. Make something of it.
